The Currie Cup final is on Saturday, 24 June in Bloemfontein. The Toyota Cheetahs will take on the Airlink Pumas at 16:00 at Toyota Stadium.

The day starts early, with gates opening at 11:00 and a curtain raiser between the Woman sides of the Free State and SWD Eagles at 12:00.

After the match, supporters can enjoy a live performance by Jo Black at the Castle gig-rig behind the main stand.

Toyota-Cheetahs in Currie Cup finals

The Toyota Cheetahs play in their 16th Currie Cup final on Saturday.

It is the first time these two teams will face each other in a Currie Cup final, but their 33rd Currie Cup encounter. The first clash was on 11 October 1996 in the Free State Stadium, Bloemfontein.

The Toyota Cheetahs played nine of their previous 15 Currie Cup finals in front of their home crowd, celebrating five of the six Currie Cup triumphs in the Toyota Stadium.

It’s the third time in a row that the Toyota Cheetahs have the privilege of playing in the Currie Cup final in Bloemfontein.

The last Currie Cup final in the Toyota Stadium was on 7 September 2019 against the Lions. Tian Meyer’s side won 31-28.
